In 2022, the KFC restaurant chain left Russia, selling all assets and rights to the Izhevsk company Smart Service. The company needed to update the naming, logo and visual components of the brand, but in such a way that the transition from the old brand to the new one remained as imperceptible as possible.
We created a logo inspired by the American spirit and the aesthetics of the 1970s. The letter R is designed in the style of chrome car badges — with volume, beveled edges, and a dynamic tilt. The classic stripes were reimagined and turned into arrows, echoing road signs for “Direction of Turn.” In addition, we developed a full range of packaging — from limited-edition drinks to the legendary bucket.
